Wallace Wattles (1860 to 1911)

Wallace Delois Wattles was born in the United States in 1860 and after initially living a life marked by failure, defeat and poverty, he was able to transform his life and finances by applying the principles that he writes about in The Science of Getting Rich.  Some of his other books include:

  • The Science of Getting Rich,

  • The Science of Being Great,

  • The Science of Being Well,

  • Making of the Man Who Can,

  • Health Through New Thought and Fasting,

Wallace Wattles is best known for his classic book on prosperity - The Science of Getting Rich - that was instrumental in inspiring Rhonda Byrnes to write "The Secret." Through his tireless study and application of the monistic theory of the Hindu religion, Wallace was able to heal his relationship with money and shift from lack and scarcity to abundance and success. Having discovered these secrets,  Wallace began to write a series of books to share these principles and Universal Laws with the world.

Wattles died in 1911, not long after the 1910 publication of The Science of Getting Rich.  His books - almost hundred years later - now are inspiring millions of people who are working with the Law of Attraction to create a better life for themselves.
